[04-04 00:25] [Chat] Ebbomega: One of the coolest things at Airwaves was we were heading out at the start of Friday night to go check out the techno club, as we were walking up the main street in Reykjavik, we hear a loud thump-thump-thump and figure that's coming from the techno club...
[04-04 00:25] [Chat] Ebbomega: ... until we got to the street with the techno club and the music was still ahead.
[04-04 00:26] [Chat] Ebbomega: So we wander up some more until we come up to a stage on the side of the street, right next to a skate park, and they're playing techno music there right outside.
[04-04 00:26] [Chat] Ebbomega: This is like, late October so everybody's bundled up in coats and parkas and toques
[04-04 00:26] [Chat] Ebbomega: but rocking out to techno.
[04-04 00:26] [Chat] Icewolfz: yeah some street peroframs have some pretty good stuff
[04-04 00:27] [Chat] Icewolfz: whole naked cowboy
[04-04 00:27] [Chat] Ebbomega: This was beyond street performer, this was an actual off-site venue they had set up, so there was a whole stereo rig going.
[04-04 00:27] [Chat] Icewolfz: may have been paid by the club to setup and draw people in
[04-04 00:27] [Chat] Ebbomega: After a while, suddenly realise... even though they're playing techno music, there's not a synthesizer in sight.
