[05-19 15:54] | [Newbie] | Icewolfz: yeah its a limited system in the code as well only os much wiggle room |
[05-19 15:54] | [Newbie] | Auranna: Again, not the end of the world, just a minor disappointment. |
[05-19 15:54] | [Newbie] | Icewolfz: most of hte stats where designed by the previous immortals |
[05-19 15:54] | [Newbie] | Icewolfz: stats tend ot be a mix of race + class |
[05-19 15:54] | [Newbie] | Auranna: Yes, I know. |
[05-19 15:54] | [Newbie] | Icewolfz: i keep tryign to think of ways to fix humans but havnt gotten a good solution |
[05-19 15:54] | [Newbie] | Kumog: There's always the band-aid fix for human stats. Stat-boosting EQ that's better than others but restricted to humans. |
[05-19 15:55] | [Newbie] | Auranna: Though it doesn't seem class affect max caps, just your ability to raise the cap. |
[05-19 15:55] | [Newbie] | Icewolfz: yeah class mostly effects the riasing of stats |
[05-19 15:55] | [Newbie] | Icewolfz: race determins your starting stats |
[05-19 15:55] | [Newbie] | Icewolfz: and also effects caps |
[05-19 15:55] | [Newbie] | Auranna: Yes. |
[05-19 15:56] | [Newbie] | Icewolfz: will have ot try and get some time to test on dev as human and see if i can tweak anything |
[05-19 15:57] | [Newbie] | Icewolfz: in genreal in creation i think the max any stat for any race is 25 |
[05-19 15:57] | [Newbie] | Auranna: I just wish theere was a way to specialize slightly more as human, which would just require larger caps at character creation, maybe even with lower base stats |
[05-19 15:57] | [Newbie] | Auranna: For human, it's 17 in any given stat |
[05-19 15:57] | [Newbie] | Kumog: Notable: As a lizardman, I started at 13 for Str, a stat I'm supposed to be docked in, and could take the cap to 18. 19 start for Dex which I was able to take to 24. |
[05-19 15:58] | [Newbie] | Auranna: I had 12 in everything with 17 max |
[05-19 15:58] | [Newbie] | Icewolfz: while lizards take longer to get strong the yare still well lizards |
[05-19 15:58] | [Newbie] | Kumog: So I'd say human base should be 14 in each to truly be 'average' |
